The Rental Department specialises in 20th Century vintage clothing and costume and our collection ranges from 1900s formal evening gowns right through to 1990s t-shirts and everything in between.

 In addition to this we also have a large collection of peasant and broken-down clothing dating from late Victorian through to the 1940s that has been used on productions such as Sweeney Todd, Oliver and The Grapes of Wrath amongst others.
 
To compliment our costume and clothing we have a large and comprehensive
selection of original shoes, handbags, hats and jewellery etc.

Men's formal wear is a requirement in many productions and at Academy we have a room full of tail suits, tuxedos and morning coats to costume everything from grand balls to butlers.

We also have a lot of other unusual and special things in our stock such as astronauts, angel wings, pregnancy padding and showgirls - so it is always worth giving us a call to discuss your requirements.

Customers are welcome to select and fit their own costumes or we can put together outfits or whole productions for them.
